IMHO most will agree that music is something that everyone likes and listening to music does leaves you free to do anything unlike picture/video etc. that requires you to pay attention to one thing only (i.e. watching the picture/video). 's K700 is no doubt far far superior to Nokia's 6230 but I'm personally VERY disappointed by the lack of MS Duo support. So, when I'm looking for a "true music phone" ignoring other features, 6230 remains the only choice. The S700 has the answer but 2004 Q4 is too long a wait.

Don't forget that Sendo X is a smartphone, you can compare it to P900,7650,3650,6600,SX1 and all other smartphones. But K700 isn't smartphone,it's a normal phone,so you should compare it to normal phones. If you want phone with all the functions get P900.If you want small phone with all modern functions (Camera,MP3,GPRS,Radio,Color Screen,Poly.ringtones and etc.) get K700,it's the best choose for the moment (and maybe it'll be ousted by S700 in Q4).Every phone belonges to some category (year, class, functions and etc.) so you can't compare K700 to Sendo X.You can't compare 6230 to 5110 too!!!

Yeah, I guess you are right. Sendo X is a smartphone. If only K700 supports Memory slots, it should be the Best phone of all. It has almost all of the features of a smartphone and yet it is just a normal phone. It’s a very good strategy by SE to place K700 in the normal mobile phone class but with features of smartphone like the ability to view powerpoint file, etc.

Who knows, SE will release a plug-in adapter for external memory expansion for K700 he..he.. and then SE K700 will be the Goddess of all mobile phone

Cheers

Sure hope so. It takes the drool factor of T610 and multiplies it a zillion times...

would you really want to add something to the bottom of your new phone just to add memory making your phone bigger and heavier.
i know i wouldnt it defeats the object of having a small phone.
they should have done there homework and put more memory in or the ability for mmc cards
the biggest complaint about the t610 besides the screen was the memory and on the whole that was for some ringtones games pics and themes.
by the time you get the phone i bet it will have less than 30mg available so the mp3 player is a 5 song feature if you wish to retain any sort of sound quality
it no big deal to me as i dont like mp3 player and will buy the phone anyway
intreesting to see how many doing knowin they can get less than 1 album on it to carry round

Maybe I haven't told it clear,I like MMC/SD/MSD/CF and all kinds falsh cards.I would like my phone to have it,but I wanted to tell that I prefer K700 to 6230 even it hasn't got MMC or SD or MSD.I like the phone and this function isn't the sense of life for me,I can't live without it in K700.Is it clear now.

PS:I'm not very well with the Englis,so sometimes I can't explain what I want to tell

gotcha... it's all good i prefer the k700 as well.... it's a shame about the expanadable memory though

K700 looks alright, nothing special about its design whatsoever, remove the SE logo and it could be a Siemens, T610 looks more classy and innovative to me, its the same rehashed design from the T600 mini phone, dont know what all the "i love the K700 design" people are on about.

each to their own i suppose but as usual nothing but Nokia bashing going on here with most people just chatting sh**.

wow... here we go with the nokia hating...

i personally think there is nothing wrong with the menu.. it's just simple, support from my experience pretty much the same as SE. But SE international warrenty is better. functions work fine ..have you tried a 6820. everything works fine to me.. they use bluetooth differnetly so what? there should be NO need for regular software updates. my t616 has r1b and it fixes everything and i don't want to get another update if i don't have to. (too much trouble..got to go to a service centre or pay some dude $50 to flash)

i agree the screen is small adn should be bigger though.

i've tried the 6820 and i looked forward to it, nice design better placed buttons. but its still the old nokia menu. the new one that you can find on the 7200 (tested a test model) is better but it looks ugly and all the rest is still nokia stile. i prefere SE and LG menu style more. and the screen is just way to small. so in the end i was disapointed
