Looking at the phone demo, it doesn't appear that it is. Looks to me that the battery needs to come out before you can get at the memory card...

Lol, this is why i converted from Nokia to SE a few weeks ago after years of nokia products. Great new phone, great features, good release date, a bit wide but pocketable, terrible terrible keypad.
If they just released a phone with good resolution screen, a hi-res camera/ video and a normal keypad i would not hesitate to buy. As it stands, SE is stil, the best (in my opinion)

Haven't you guys learned anything? Nokia has given it a silly keyboard, no flash, so that in 6 months time when sale's of the device start to fall they can announce the 7610i, with new keyboard and integrated flash, you may laugh but you know its true, lol
but on the design side of things i have to say
I LIKE IT!!!

as a telecom freak i would say. come SE show us some new killers.
but as me i would say: you're going good, don't lauch to many things at once, take it easy, don't make the same mistakes as in 2000. cause, 2003 was a good year for phones, and 2004 will be also, but not as good, and i think that alot of companys will now be pushing hard, but will have to much overstock.

I heard that also Samsung will present some Symbian MegaPixel phones at the Cebit. By the time the S700 comes out, it's not that special anymore and just too big, that's what I'm afraid of.

Yes it's stereo, like all MP3 playing (by default) Nokias. The screen is only 176 x 208 but IMO having Series 60 and Symbian OS 7.0s more than makes up for that.
It's about the same size as the S700 but has all the powerful Symbian C++ apps, like Opera etc on its side vs the S700's Java 3D. If SE comes out with a "lightweight" P900 version, that runs on Symbian OS and is about the same size and price as the 7610, that's the phone to compare this to. Not the S/K700.
The RFID package they introduced is also pretty cool. The 5140 can read them when you use the special cover.
Attach radio tags to your photo album (or any other object), the phone calls them when you touch the tag.. or performs any other function!
