For ringtones i'd prolly use mp3's with the bitrate cut down to 48 kbps,or even 24 cus quality wont be needed will it. But if memory is an issue i would just use some wav sound fx instead. As for streaming radio,is this gonna cost a lot to listen to net radio? and can we choose stations or will we be limited by our providers? :-l

se maybe covering there back by saying 20m. the z1010 may have a 100m range but if used with a 10m dongle 20m is about the max. well according to bluetooth site it is.
i always though it would only go 10m but aparently i was wrong you do get a bit more but no were near the max
though the z1010 may have been scaled down a bit due to the delays in launch (mostly down to lack of 3g support around the world) they maybe releasing it as a mid range phone as opposed to a high end 3g phone
just my opinion

Yes it does. From Z1010 white paper:
"The Z1010 supports java 2 Micro Edition (kJava).
The functionality consists of:
- JSR 30 CLDC 1.0
-
JSR 118 MIDP 2.0
- JSR 120 Wireless Msg API (the SMS part, not cell broadcast).
The following functions of the JSR 135 Mobile API:
- Audio playback.
- Video playback.
- Camera snapshot.
"

What does support the MS Duo Pro?
Think Sony Digital Video Recordes do and probably some other pure Sony home electronics.

Both questions will be provider specific I guess.

No way SE would write 20m if it was equipped with 100m bluetooth range.
It's like when BMW would write that their new BMW M5 only runs 80 km/h since some drivers around the world might have so bad roads that a higher speed is not reachable
The press release many many months ago mentioned 100m bluetooth range so it could be possible that it is a typo though.
@Arne Anka: what does the whitepaper say about bluetoooth?

Another thing, no mention of battery life!!!
Anyone have any ideas?
Also the following maybe of interest to UK residents.
According to a 3 customer service rep (they generally know very little) "3 have just signed a supply agreement with SE and that a new phone that is along the lines of the P800/P900 is going to be released in the near future. Anytime in April or May 2004." I don't know to believe it, but will wait!!!
