Well you can't compare these 2 phones, unless they were available within 6 months of each other or something like that, not over 2 years!

You gotta admit, when you first got hold of that T610, the camera totally let you down, it was ok on screen but transferred over to PC it was pants. And even now considering the K700, I still wish they would have stuck a better camera in there, not the olde world VGA crap. SE should have addressed this and led the market with a 1.3 mega pixel and higher resolution screen from the start. I would sell the GX30 now if it was the case.

Very ignorant statement, I expected better from you Bart.
Sharp invented the cameraphone in November 2000 with the J-SH04 (google it), delivered the worlds first megapixel cameraphone in May 2003, and the worlds first 2 megapixel cameraphone with the simultaneous release of both the V601SH and SH505is last November.
They are the 3rd biggest phone manufacturer in Japan.
Outside of Japan, they have been making phones for all Vodafone territories since October 2001. That includes all of Europe, Australasia and parts of Africa. Not just "the UK".
Last week they released the
SH900i for DoCoMo, without doubt the best phone the world has ever seen.
Click
here a little education about recent Sharp phones.

But the T610 is dated next to a GX30, so its not even a decent comparison, that was my point.
I like SE, have had a T610, the Camera agreed was a real let down. Software bugs, only 2mb memory etc.
My point in the initial post isn't are Sharp a bigger company etc, only that there phones currently are better than SE. All phones have their faults, GX30, T610, but on the balance of things theb GX30 is definately the best handset I have owned, and I have owned alot of handsets

I would say GX30 is the best phone in the market today (in England), but have to admit I loved my T610, the ability to personalise it to how I wanted it somehow outweighed my feelings toward the GX30, even though technically superior.

Its amazing how a bit of competition has the se diehards panicing and bringing out the usual excuses you cant compare the phones you cant trust them there just a small company se lead the way . Just accept that someone else has made a good phone that se cant challenge for 6 month and hope this gives them a kick us the arse to raise there game

Agreed, and I also agree with the customisation of themes etc or lack of it, but is this essential, the GX32 has better menu screens etc anyway, its just vodas standard boring menus as usual that spoil it. But themes are something I had on my Nokia 6600 and only ever changed them a few times. Nice to play around with every now and then though I guess. Not a selling point for me personall though.
"Sorry was agreeing with slatter there"
