It's a brand new one.

I think getting my first smart phone at 18 isn't bad!

I have studied about batteries. If they are charged for prolonged times they wea. 4 hours is ideal. And yes, manufacturer knows about ideal charges.

@DungeonMaster
Thats fair enough, and I'm not questioning your studies, but I can only go from experience. You see and hear of people needing new batteries for their devices. I have had more than my fair share of rechargeable devices over the years, and have not had to purchase a new battery yet. I put this down to the fact that I always condition the batteries properly before use, and give them periodical overnight charges.

In fact, my dad is now using 2 batteries from a pair of Nokia 5110 handsets that were purchased about 7 years ago (no exageration, it was my first mobile), in his 6310, and he is still getting a week standby out of each one. So, in my experience, conditioning batteries properly seems only to have a beneficial effect and has certainly not worn the batteries.

How do I close apps?

I'm trying to run vrally (installed on memorystick) and it says there's not enough RAM.

Also how do I get rid of things like demo?

I too posted the same question on another thread but got no replys - in the end I removed the files (rigtly or wrongly) using the filemanager in SMan

long time reader, first time poster...

All this excitement over opening and using a brand new p900 makes me want one in the worst way.

Also makes me feel like my t616 is old news. It sucks having something everybody around you wants, but still wanting what somebody else has.

i know it says 4 hours in the manual, but my mobile operator put a big yellow label on the box with "charge 16 hours" written on it. so i don't know if it's necessary but better be safe than sorry.
