O2 offer the best gprs charges around.

I left t-mobile because they were charging 0.75p per kb. Do the math and it's £7.50 per mb, so 02's rates are very good.

You are wrong!!

If you look correcly u will find that T-Mobile charge £5.00 for 3Mb and £3.00 there after for each MB

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=allowances

GPRS charges full stop are over priced

Actually what you said only applies if you purchase special discounted bundles on top off your normal contract, so i am actually correct for a bog standard contract where

02 = £2.35 per mb
T-mobile = £7.50 per mb

Thankyou

Dont worry people! I have a feeling free GPRS will be back soon. Yesterday i tried sending an MMS, it failed at 4% but i still got charged £1.15!!! i rung them up and this bird with a sexy voice answered, because the computer is 2 hours behind she told me to ring back today and see what happens. But even GPRS charges seem out of whack, i only down loaded 2kb before i disconnected and i think it took about 75p off me!

I have also had some random charges for sending & receiving MMS. Strange amounts like 7p or 4p
U definately shouldn't be charged to receive and I get 25 free MMS so I shouldn't be charged to send yet either.

My WAP etc remains free so far though!
I think O2 have cocked-up somewhere! This is why it's always been free cos they can't seem to charge it properly or accurately.
Free GPRS on it's way back?

Yeah you are right come to think of it. I had to buy the £5-00 package so I can use messenger and browse a few pages knowing I would not get over priced (can I say that). Well if GPRS can get over priced even more that is.
