jus wanted to ask....

i was ripping a small trailer just to test and it got to about 70% and then it said select 'Force 24Hz' in the settings menu and it stopped ripping the section.

Should i select this option beforehand in future, cos i dont want to be ripping a full length film and have it stop because of that.

And also when 'customize' is selected for 'Split Mode'...what should the size settings be for a 128Mb duo...i know it might sound stupid but just making sure

the files look good on the k700 using the p800 profile that i had mentioned before. just remember to change the resolution to 176x44 under the codec tab. I encoded some stuff and i'm still trying out different settings to see what the best one is for the smoothest and clearest video and sound for the least amount of memory. I will of course share my findings and possibly post comparison images to show why I chose the final settings.

i'll be in touch

Not only would it work on the Z1010 you would be able to watch a full movie using a 128mb Duo and the Z1010's external storage...plus..it's screen is large enough to make the experience alittle more practicle.

Well, I have HUGE experience with video and I am happy to do some testing and work with you people to create (if possible) better, smaller and smoother videos. I make videos for my Pocket PC for a long time and they are very good and small. If someone is willing to assist me in video testing (because I donŽt have a K700 or Pxxx to test...)...

IŽll do some basic conversions and then IŽll post. Then send me your feedback

Download my first video (MP4) and test it on both K700i and Px00 and let me know if it worked fine, errors, quality,...
