My space bar is ok, I have pda guys... not tiny display of phone
And this reminds me that keybord of 6610 is far better than T230...
I wouldn't buy any of these two phones... they are for children...

I beg to disagree the T230s keyboard is far better. The 6610s was too slippery for me. The tactile feel of the T230s keypad is great. And yes these phones are not for children. These are for people who cannot afford expensive phones. Everyone one cant buy a P900

Yes price is reasonable, but I would rather compare T310 to 6610 than T230. T310 has worse display and no radio but has better irda, mms... and is also cheaper.

Ok well here are some practical issues when comparing T-230 with Nokia 6610..!
1) T-230 outdoes the screen of 6610 in colour resolution but lacks complete sharpness as viewed on the 6610.
2) Everybody here mentioned that the Ir-Da port is crippled..Here is something you all forgot..Nokia's Ir-da does not communicate with the other brand of phones having Ir-da..I tried to send a picture from the 6610 to a T-610 and it did not even find the device..but when I sent a photo from T-610 the Damn! phone gladly received it..!
3) Nokia's Poly tones sound so damn crappy..Reason is that they are 8 Chord-16 Chord..whereas T-230 has 32 Chord Poly Tones...
4) The Voice clarity of T-230 surpasses that of 6610 which does not convey clear voice..Experiment done in the DTC-(Delhi Transport Corp) Bus Service during Peak traffic time..with all noise and horns blazing...
5) 6610 has an amazing Battery backup as compared with the t-230 But then SE has always had bad battery backups as compared with Nokia.
6)Reception is almost equal par..But here I would give Nokia the advantage..!
All in All T-230 and Nokia 6610 are great phones but I term them in equal category..Nokia 6610 was a super Flop model in India..whereas T-230 is the market leader for 5000 and below category..!
(Colour Display Models Only Under Rs.5000-Not comparing with Nokia 3310/3315/1100/2100..lol)
