The T630 housings sold by china_store on eBay are fakes; very good fakes, but fakes nonetheless. I emailed china_store about this, and he did not admit that my T630 housing is a fake, but is willing to work out the problem.
I am, however, pleased with the new look of my T610. The housing was easy to switch, although I forgot to install the microphone in the new housing and could not talk as a result. This was fixed in just a few minutes.
