I believe that is the best solution thus far... ingenious !

I usually choose which item to buy - stereo, computer, whatever - by the number of lights it has on it, in fact I think the P900 could do with a few more... good on the poster for adding some !

The electrical tape thing works all the time. in fact We once fixed a very annoying bright blinking warning light on a vans dashboard by covering it over with gaffatape. (the van broke down a few months after, cant think why)

oh my god... it seems like i'm the ONLY one who actually LIKES those blinking lights. IMHO it's always been the ericsson/sony ericsson trademark and i LOVE it. was actually disappointed that the blinking lights have disappeared on all except the P series.... anyone else out there who actually likes the blinking lights too?
