(in accordance with my last post) there was a poster here on esato that said he had a prototype of s700 and he claimed that it was duo pro.
There are a lot of people around talking alot of BS. At the end of the day, the only reliable info is that printed in paper (the white one). And there it says MS DUO upto 128 MB.
Accept that and go on (dreams will not get you anywhere).

I can get Sandisk Duo Pro 512 for 1500SEK at SWE.
For half the price, you can get an SD card of same size with better performance. MS is simply overpriced. To bad SE persist on using MS.

Sony, Then I will get it from Ebay or Singapore, that price is
You can. But the question is if you want. What do you do if it is defective ? Send it back and hope you bought it from Mr nice guy that cares about your warrenty.
I prefer buying in a store (like webhallen), where I know what rules applies and where I don't need to spend additional amount of time and money if something breaks.

The buying is not a problem. The warranty is fine as well. The problem is if you get caught in a disspute over the warranty (like mobile phone manufacturers claiming its your fault if they find moisture in it). In such case its easier to protect your rights where you live than in another country.

Yeah, but sending back and forth is not for free. Using your legs to the local store is for free.

Right, well sod the S700, I'm gonna buy the N*kia 7610!!!
Okay so the camera is shit compared to S7, and it looks shit compared to S7, and it doesn't play mp3 in stereo (?!) and its made by N*kia (need i say more?)
BUT...
It uses RS-MMC, which are a whole lot cheaper than MS, and it comes with a 64MB RSMMC in the package as well as (I think) 8MB inbuilt memory - and its available right now.
Y O U L I S T E N I N G S E ????

hmm am wondering why its such a big deal anyway.....u can fit plenty of 1Mp pics and a couple short vids on 128Mb, (whats the internal memory like btw?) and as for films....would the battery life allow u to watch a full length movie anyway? it just more hassle having to keep taking the photos/mp3s off to make room for each other...but to tell u the truth i dun think ill be able to afford the bigger cards anyway! its got radio so if ur card's full of fotos u can still listen to music and its not as if theres loads of applications u can download like a P910 .
