well I like the design you are coming up with, but it is much more about learning to use layers, masks and blending options to make things look right. I also happen to have a graphics tablet which makes detail work much easier since I am using a pen instead of a mouse.

cool that sounds like it would be alot easier...do you know of any Tutorials for Adobe Photoshop Or does the program it's self have them just got it and really havent looked into the program all that much....

just use their search feature or browse around for what you are looking for. Some of the tutorials show you very poor ways to do things in my opinion, but at least they'll get you started and learning how to use all the features.

Also about how much do tablets cost and where would one look to get one eg: bestbuy or compusa would really like to start messing around with photoshop 8 cs thanks for the answers

smaller tablets can be reasonably priced around $200-$300 and can be found at compusa, frys and the apple store. Tablets aren't for everyone though, I suggest you becom familier with whatever editing program you are using long before you consider that big of an investment.
@axxxr I've heard some good things about that program and its good that there is a free alternative out there.

I use microsoft image editor, easy and simple to use.
Photoshop has all of those icons - I'll never remember what they are!
