well, IMO it is not comparable, having said that, it is not wrong to compare between the two to certain level of features and needs. P900 is good for users who use their gadget for mobile operating most of the time, while the PDA is obviously for the PDA users.
i also believe, considering its features and uses, both devices come up with its respective advantages and disadvantages, take example in my case, i would prefer to use P910 if i use my gadget for making calls and sms most of the times, but considering its big size, i think k700 will do me just fine considering i don't use much applications such as word and excel etc. but for PDA or in my other case, who use the gadget mostly for processing data and schedules, it is down to its capability of useability and capability of processing data and applications, where the role of being PDA + phone is essential and the PDA wins here.
for anything else, their about the same regarding to its camera, memory, entertainment and wireless connection such as bluetooth which i found very handy, unless if we need its WiFi capability.
so in short, people who use PDA as their main gadget will surely go for the HP while people who makes calls and sms most of the times, but without neglecting its use of being a smartphone, will almost certain go for P910
these 2 are great devices IMO, and it is all only my personal opinion, i might be wrong though

yeah, the hp has lots of distinct advantages with respect to wifi and stuff....
but, i still don't believe windows/pocket pc is the best os for a handheld at the moment. i use windows mobile on my pda.. and it really sucks compared to the palm OS.
HP's brand identity is based as a computer/peripheral device entity, and se as the quintessential mobile phone brand.
so, they'll need to do a lot more research into what it takes to be a mobile phone manufacturer. because, they'll soon have a lot of competition with the likes of nokia (9500 is it?)
also.. se have their core competence in the field of mobile phones, i mean.. its going to take a lot of guts to beat the mobile companies in their own backyard,
(the analogy i'm using is XboX Vs ps2)

will be available in a week here in the US. The price is lower than the P900 and with SE not giving me my P900 back (2mo. now) they are loosing ground with me. The iPaQ6315 looks better every day now.

it's not even the best PDA. As usual, a compromise between a phone and a PDA. It's obvious that you won't ever get the same as if you would have two separate devices (the best in their class).

the p900's size in relation to it's functions is, in my opinion, unbeatable.
i was looking for an all-in-one device for a long time. nokia communicator, MDA, MDAII etc, they're all bricks. my girlfriend has an MDAII, and while i actually like the pocket pc operating system (now called windows mobile), i wouldn't use the MDAII at all.
now that ipaq 6700 looks interesting. if it's smaller than the MDAII or MDAIII, then i'd say that thing is truly a p900 killer.
but i just love the way the p900 is a phone until you open the keypad. so far, no other manufacturer has produced something as thought-out as this.
slide-out keyboard on the MDAIII? nice, but it still won't let you operate the PHONE with one hand. apart from the weight and size disadvantage.
if SE stick to the px00 design and improve it, i think it will definately be a winner for a long time to come.
just make it slimmer and lighter, fix the 128Mb barrier and maybe even pop in a wifi chip. there. my dream smartphone

HP has ditched all it's current PDA owners by not offering upgrades to WM2003SE or indeed offering valid reasons not to do so. I am not talking about old technology either some of the models are under 12 months old and yet they have been orphaned by HP, this has caused a mayor uproar see
