you need not activate the ir on the laptop ... just activate it on ur hp .. and place it near enought .. it will get it ..

it's true the software is available now dee....i just called up just now....should i d/l something like the t68 software or wart...my laptop have the ir port but didnt appears is the control panel (i mean the infrared option)....i cant detect it also...even though my previous hp 8310 also the same....cant detect it..
