Who told you that?.. Its the otherway round, it does not support because we dont have anything above 128MB... thats it.

If Sony comes out with something > 128MB - IT WILL WORK. Gone are the days when processors could not "look" beyond a memory address!.

Once I grab a P910 the encoding quality will be endless knowing that all my content will have a video bitrate at least 5x - 10x of the p800/p900 because of the limitations posed by the 128mb Duo.

Will the processor of the P910 be able to handle such high bitrates the limitations are not only posed by the memory stick it is also posed by the P800/P900 processor limitations (are the P900/P910 processors the same 156mhz ARM??)

If you are currently using 100k/bits a second for your current movie encodes then you are talking about 500k/bits a second minimum surely this will be to much for the phone to handle

Sony wont bring out a normal MemoryStick Duo bigger than 128MB that's why they made the pro version.

actually, there are normal memorystick duos out there that are bigger than 128, and they dont work with the p900. What Im wondering right now is if a msd pro 128mbs will work with it.

You cant unless you go for MS Duo Pro which only work in P910. If you want pros then look on ebay.

We know this, that's what we're trying to tell people, you cannot get a memory stick bigger than 128MB unless you buy Pro
