Some new features/improvements i noticed...

1. While searching for contacts, I can now type letters in the name in the search bar and the phone shows the matching contacts.
2. T9 sms, IMO, seems to be faster. No crashing if I open flip in the middle of typing sms.
3. GPRS seems, IMO, to be faster.
4. New bluetooth icon when bt headset is in use. The icon is like a bt symbol with earphone over it. Don't remember seeing it in P900.

Also, HBH-600 works like a charm.

Was using a p800,p900and now p910i

I know we all have different views on this, but could you really justify those upgrade paths you mention...

P800 to P900 was quite a change, aesthetically if nothing more, the looks and usability had a radical change...

But the P900 to P910... I see little point and cannot personally justify it... I say this too on the brink of reaching the one year contract period with my P900, so it could well be time for an upgrade, just that I don't really see much point - a couple of tweaks, a brighter screen, a minature keyboard... I suppose they are decent upgrades, just not enough to persuade me - perhaps because the P900 shocked me in how useful it was, the P910 though will always fade in this respect, it being almost the same thing offering almost the same features...

If i didn't have the P900, I would consider it alongside the upcoming XDA's, but otherwise I really don't see the point...

Heys,

Anyone knows when p910i's going to be released in Australia?

It seems to be "showing" on SE's .au page, but no word on when's going to be available. Also, there's no indication about the price either. Any help? rumours, if nonthing else?

Ino!~

@efjay

will have a look at categories - but might take few days as I wont get time to really play with the P910 until the weekend, I need to ask for various s/w suppliers to send me new reg codes (e.g. Epocware s/w) so that I can migrate my data from the P900.

I have questions regarding the Content and Application CD that came with the P910i:

I'm interested if there's a program called Wayfinder. Is it a Mobile Navigator version or Map Guide version?
