@Arez
Actually, jar size can be much bigger than 200kb. It's the uncompressed text file size that you should watch out for. In other words, you can have many text files within the jar file, but each individual text file should preferably be small enough to avoid problems during runtime.

No dude, I don't use Tequilacat Bookreader to create/edit text files. It's only a reader. What I do is save very short (almost blank) text files to the "Others" folder; these now become my templates, which I edit using the K700i's mms editor.
When you exit the mms editor, the changes to the text file are saved in the Others folder AND the messages "Drafts" folder. So I advise that you delete the resulting mms in the Drafts folder after every editing session, in order to save space.
Thanks a lot for the info mate.
I found that one can overcome the drafts folder problem :
if after editing the text file you press and hold the return key so that it asks you to save the mms in drafts just say "no", the text file will be edited anyway..

I'm so jealous of you guys. I wish i knew to do all that- downloading and using the bookreader on my k700. I hate having home technology that i can't use. I wish...
What's worse is that i have a few jar file that my phone can't open, i have downloaded a .ram file i cannot use and i also have a .sis file which i'm not sure why it doesn't open. But help is on the way... I hope.

The .sis files are not supported by the K700i. They are meant for phones running the SYmbian OS....S60 for e.g

Thanks for the info, bud! I guess I was just too afraid not to save the edited mms in the Drafts folder. I wanted a backup

File by file analysis here:
1. .ram files are real media's video files, they don't run on k700i, only for the nokia 66 series phones... you can only use .3gp and .mp4 type video files on the k700i.
2. .jar files run fine on k700i(but .jar files meant for java "PHONES" only), if i'm not mistaken there are many types of jar files in exsistence. If you need help installing them mention the software you're using to connect ur phone to the PC.
3. .sis -well that's already answered.
Love ur k700i.

thank you very much for all the answers i got here! next time, will use akshat's advise of using the forum instead of just pm's. it was just that i was so anxious to get immediate response that i pm'd you all instead of first posting here in the forum.
can anyone elaborate to me on how to use the gettext also from tequilacat.. im trying to change some .pdf files into .txt and cant seem to follow these instructions written there..
"To install a filter, extract the downloaded ZIP file into the Filters subfolder of the product root folder. After it, re-start the product. In SSScanner™, select the Text Filters frame and make sure that the new filter is marked as Active; in SSSleuth, add the path to the new filter to the file "KryloffFilters.txt"
