Had mine for 3 months now. K700 is a cool phone, real cool. Cool features, cool design, excellent overall performance. True successor to T6... series. Con: battery life.

After applying the R2L update...
1. The camera sound cannot be turned off without changing your profile. (I doubt SE want to correct this)
2. The phone still reboots sometimes (but very rarely). This usually only happens when the top two icons (SE and Internet Services) magically disappear!
There are memory leaks in the K700i's operating system and I think SE will have a tough time ironing these issues out! (But they will eventually do it - it just takes a lot of time!)

Its a piece of junk i had it for one hour and have it back. I am using a nokia 6230 original unbranded and that is the best phone i ever had to many features to list. I downloaded a web viewer from wap.reqwireless.com and the html format is out of this world. Thats the best 20 bucks i ever spent. Go read a review by mobileburn and you will never use a sonyericsson phone again. The unlocked original version is made by nokia in europe .

. . . Well, honestly I had some DISAPPOINTMENTS with the K7 too mate, but after using it for awhile, it then made me to like it more. Maybe the 1 hour you've SPENT with the fone is not sufficient enough, to TOTALLY turn your back on the model buddy
!
I like the Nokia 6230 as well, much better than the 6600 - for me!

It has some minor bugs, hope to be solved with next software.

All along I thought that the NEXT upgrades to the stock one were only the - R2L... and the R2AAs... Is that the LATEST one?

It was free (here is one year guarantee for hardware and software, even one month for battery). I was mad when they sold me k 700 with very first release of Firmware - R2A041 - lot of bugs and frozen phone when making call.
