i first bought a t610 because it was the cheapest camera phone i could find at the time. then i got it and i really liked it. then i heard about the k700i and knew i had to get it. and way back in the day before i knew anything about phones (or had anyone to call, lol) my mom got me an ericsson on pay as you go so i could keep in contact with her and dad. SE hasent let me down. i want to get another phone but i know i wont be able to afford one for a while (senior year is expensive) so im glad i got a k700i. and by the time i go for a new phone im pretty sure SE will have announced some new phones for me to choose from.

I bought a Samsung A300 (think that was it. The silver clamshell. One of the first dual screen phones). Did not like it at all. Was very slow and both batteries would be empty after a day.
Then onto Motorola V50. I gave my sister my Nokia 5210 (the rubber one) and she gave me her broken V50. After having it repaired I used it for a week and then sold it to a friend. Did'nt like the menu. Too long winded.
A friend showed me his /// T68 which he had just bought and it was very nice. After a weeks worth of thinking a decided to go into the local O2 shop to buy a new phone on contract. They showed me loads of phones but I was'nt too keen on any of them. Then they said they have a new phone which had arrived in shop 2 days before. Out came a T68i and before she could sit down I said yes.
After 10 months I saw the Siemens SL55 and decided to buy it and sold my T68i to someone I work with. The SL55 lasted 3 months and after I got very annoyed with it I was finally due an upgrade (Dec 2003) from O2 which I bought a T610.
After this the
bug really hit as I then bought 2 T630's, a P900, a K700i and an S700.
Although I still like and use my S700 (can't stand the P900) I bought a Motorola V3 Razr about a week ago and was really impressed. The V3 has now become my main phone followed by the S700 and the P900 coming third and is gathering dust in a drawer. I think that unless
pull out a few stops and release something new and different then the S700 will be my last
purchase.

I like SE phones mainly because the font used in the system looks decent, i like it. The menu looks cool too and everything is where you expect it to be. Ive never had to think "i wish it was much easier to..." never, its flawless.
The thing im starting to get worried about is SE dont test their software, my t630 had no bugs but my k700 has its own story to tell

Obviously some of the more modern mobiles have better features than the T68i, but I think that when one compares the latest mobile out now with the T68i in relative terms, then the T68i wins.
When one actually looks at the features of the T68i, with the exception of a camera and more storage space, it could still compete with modern mobiles, not bad for a mobile, which, in terms of mobile technology, is ancient.

@staz: erm I doubt we'll see anything radically new anytime soon.. phones mostly pack everything in now imo.. I'm curious though, what "more" are people looking for in any range of phones? (leaving megapixel cameras side because no doubt in the next 12 months its going to be easy to find a range of any phone with 1.3-4mp looking at various releases already being done)
Why did i choose
Because I absolutely love the versatility of their smart phones. Great phone (ie as a all I need it to do is talk on phone) and with fairly useful software thats easily expandable. Good range of accessories too that are also pretty stylish.

For me the T68 is all about looks and that ...feeling you canīt really put your finger on
They were definetivly a milestone in Ericsson history and at the time the color phone against which all others were measured though! But claiming it to be the best phone of all times.. naah.. iīd put both the T39m and Nokia 6210 above it! The T39 for functions VS size and the Nokia for simply being reliable as an anvil! At least mine was, until my sonīs dog found it very tasty..

I've tried most known brands, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung, Ericsson, Philips. There was a time when I thought that Samsung had the most practical functionalities for me and kept on watching new models of Samsung. The SGH D700 was announced and I kept waiting for it to get out in the market until it was announced that it will not be commercialized because of a new improved model D710. So I waited for that but until now it never came out in the market. Instead, they released inferior models that mostly doesn't even have voice dial/command, shoot! I finally decided to buy a new phone tried to look into other brands and models. Finally it came down to Moto E398, SE k700i, Samsung D410 (D500 wasn't announced yet that time), and SE P900. I weighed all pros and cons (including price) and chose SE K700i.
