I'm not a fan of most American sitcoms, they tend to be repetitive and patronising. Having said that I did enjoy both Cheers and Frasier.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds Friends to be unfunny and really quite annoying!
@scotsboy and stitch (however it's spelt!) with regards to 'tailors' I use Primark or George
(For those who don't know, Primark and George are shops that sell clothes more in the 'budget' range!)

i'm with scotty. most american sitcoms just aren't funny, although Frasier, Will & Grace, and occassionally Becker or Raymond are amusing. how does this relate? well i'm also uncool because:
i prefer classic british comedy - Yes (Prime) Minister, Blackadder, Mr. Bean, The Goodies, Red Dwarf, Carry On movies, etc. - to almost anything around now, and i own most of them on dvd.
i own and watch dvds of the original transformers cartoon series and movie.
i own and watch every season of buffy and angel currently available.
i own and watch babylon 5
i think a well writted animated show can be more entertaining than most live-action performances.
i got married in my twenties
i am male who finds car races boring.

I watched "are you being served" as a kid and found it very funny. my girlfreind has a bunch of "fawlty towers" on tape and those are pretty good also.

2) i have star trek on dvd
3) i have babylon 5 on dvd
