all the network providers would tell you to charge your phone for 16 hours before using it.

I mean, all we need in the software is something to
A) Turn the screen/phone OFF when done carging,
B) A message saying "CHARGED"
C) Phone to sprout arms and remove charger itself.
I realise that C is a long-shot, but come on SE, give us some basic features on top of the great ones we already have!

Yes, assuming you're not using the old R2A firmware. The old firmware displays a wrong battery level but the newer ones are pretty accurate.
I think charging it for a max of 4 hours or until the battery indicator doesn't animate anymore would be quite enough. Charging it beyond that (though harmless) is pointless IMO.

Whenver the LED on the side of S700 stops being red, I unplug it - but, mine charges either every night or every 2nd night, so its already fit for fight in the morning.
