This one gives you free pop access, and not only that, you can configure the service so you can check your hotmail & yahoo accounts on your own cashette's account.
Plus it gives you a spam payment service or something like that, but isn't the point here.
I've tried the web based service and it does work with the external accounts, it brings all your new mails from different accounts to the same inbox.
BUT i haven't tried it on my k700i, because i'm too lazy about doing any configuration
So give it a try, and post...

Only problem I have with hotpop is they refuse to give me their mailserver IP. My P800 never could connect using mail.hotpop.com, so I had to ditch it. I am very happy at the moment with swissinfo.
