I would suggest you now try contacting the other guy to resolve this issue, you say you posted the phone back to him, pm him with the tracking number of the package so he can track what's happening (or happened) to the parcel from his end. I hope that as it was rather an expensive item you used some kind of international signed for service or put some kind of insurance on it just in case the parcel's gone missing!

Well as I've followed it you took weeks to respond to the guy. If you were unhappy with his ohone you would get back to him instantly and keep him fully informed. Also you say you sent it back, if that is the case then you must have got a receipt and tracking number. He would have to sign for the delivery so u'd know if it was received and the parcel is insured against loss, theft or damage. Again the tracking number will prove if and when it was sent and if it was delivered.
You don't need a computer to prove that!

The fact that you didn't send a phone was dishonest in the first place. You could have discussed it with him and maybe agreed that you would send the phone after you received his.

The phone was posted back. I dont bother keeping tacking numbers because i have never had problems with lost packages before. Now i realise that i should really keep them.

@MikLSP - The reason i said i needed my computer was because i was sure i had a copy of the tracking number somewhere on it, and that it would solve all my problems and get everyone of my back about this shit. Problem was Packard Bell re-installed windows so all data was lost.

As i said in my last post its out of my hands, theres nothing more i can do.

Well the responsibility of the parcel lies with the sender and the delivery company until it is received and signed for so I guess you need to do something. I suggest you contact the courier you say you used and try find it with them.
