@gigs. I think compared to Japan the European market is a bit more wary about accepting new technology - may be technophobic is the wrong word. As for as I am concerned the more features the better.
I think it was here in the News section that Nokia was trialling the 'Swipe your handset to pay' technology.
At the moment in Japan you can use your Mobile Wallet to pay for Bus, rail and concert tickets using a Felica handset and i-Mode. O2 have teamed up with NTTDocomo to bring this technology here also.
I also wish they would introduce the 3.5 mm jack so we could use our own headphones but I don't think you could use any headphones as some consume more power than others don't they, and the poor little battery would drain quite quickly with the larger types.
