Yeah, it probably would...
But if you're really that desperate, there's always the option to go make an email address a hotmail or walla or something and making up a name while finding a directory listing somewhere for a UK address...

I will post this in both threads of relevance:
Don't sign up from the same internet connection! If you sign up at your office or school, make sure that your co-workers sign up at home or elsewhere, as when the item is to be sent out, they check the IP of all of your refferals. If they are all different, then great, you get the item. But otherwise, they will claim that one or more of your referrals are fraudulent. So make sure you don't sign up from the same IP as the person that referred you!
