The fact that it's not tri-band and wont fit comfortably into my trouser pocket would rule it out of my reckoning straight away.
Horses for courses I say.
Oh and does carrying it around give you backache?

only negative points are that the battery life sucks....i charge it everyday but i do use it 12 hours a day,i send about 30 mms messages a day i use 20 minutes of camera then 20 minutes of GPRS,plus sms and phone calls well,i really USE my 7650,Bluetooth works great, ive paired it with my ex-T68i (i have sold it now

),i sent all my ?T68i phonebook via infrared,i couldnt use the hbh-15 with the 7650 because you have to pair the damn things and 7650 doesnt have a pairing opotion,i went and bought a 1000m/ah battery that should increase battery life, the factory batterys are 700 m/ah ,and well ive got dust under the screen already...kind of reminds me of my T68 days....apart from that the 7650 is great, the size is the same and a little bit smaller than the P800 so if the 7650 size bothers you then you are not wanting to get the P800..oh and something else i wish the 7650 was tri-band!!!!

I will add to this debate, I own 2 T68i and a 7650, and they are both great but very different phones.
I use the T68 for work and it is very practical in size and features and is a great business phone, (lets be honest how many time do you use the camera at work?). Most! of the features work well and the GPRS featire is stable and reliable (well on UK Voda) and I get my email regularly on it.
The 7650 on the other hand is a little bulky for day to day business use and the limited battery and lack of fully integrated car kit ( i know the bluetooth kit is coming) make it less appealing for business.
To compare the 7650 and the forthcoming P800 from SE is a little unfair, I got the 7650 for UK £199.00 with a contract from Vodafone (UK £225 O2), but the contract price for the P800 is UK £499.00 comfirmed by Voda and O2!!!, thats a HUGE price differential and for another UK £300.00 it better be significantly better!!!

Who confirmed the price of the p800 for you at Vodafone???
I'd be interested as it's not even been put through Terminals Management yet for approval. Only prototypes have been tested.
Besides, if you just want a phone with a good screen and a built-in camera then the Panasonic GD-87 will be much better (based on Japanese 3g phone hardware).

Hey John,
Congrats on the phone. Not to spoil the fun in any way, just wanted to know how the phone is treatin' you. My friend also bought one a few months ago and he's wanted to say that the battery life is quite short, especially if you play with the camera alot and he misses the "Wallpaper" and "Themes" option from his T68m. What about you?

Wallpaper..as in backgrounds the 7650 has that, now as for the Themes your friend can go to the sites that ive listed above and he can download a java application with plenty of themes for the 7650 the program is called ACTIVE VIEWER its exactly like the Themes option on the T68i and as for battery life ,,,,yep its a sucker alright but i went and bought the 1000mah battery and it last 40% more than the factory one!!!!Glad to help
