That is not innovation innovation would be 4g, tv recievingrecording/ ability, super duper mega speed circuit data rates, 10 mpix camera with 5x optical zoom would be innovation, because noone did that before.

im not sure if u can call this an innovation..
but students at IIT have designed a device to charge ur cell phones via wind energy...
can't say if the idea will take off..but its definately usefull in an emergency and at places where there is no power supply like rural areas..
Check out the full story on the link...
Now, use air to charge your cell phones!

How about adding an emergency solar charger, support for full 30fps HD video, capability to use any kind of memory cards (not just Mem Stick Duo), Built-in Firewire support for transferring large files.

Voice over IP in UMTS phones (with flat data rate per month). That would spare some money.
Better content integration. Isn't Sony a giant in music and movie industries?
Some better design! (Sorry but K700 looks sooo cheap compared to t610)
Better integration with other hardware. (had lots of problems with a SONYEriccson t610 SONYEricsson k700i and SONY Vaio Notebook, I cannot sync both phones and the whole process of sync is a lot harder and complicated than it should be (my Vaio has built in :bt: but no trace of a software specifically designed for sync with phones (sort of a phone management sw)). For my computer the result is that I have BlueSpace NE which doesn't help me sync PLUS the software package of the K700i...
Another feature? let me think (mumble mumble)...
Ah, yeah, other phone models equipped with Symbian (not only the Pxxx series but others as well, for I could use some of the features (doc reading, better phonebook) without having the need of a touch screen, too-much-pda-like phone).
Hope it is enough
Cheers
