I still have the oldest R2A firmware
I don't have problems with it and compared to my brother's K700i with R2AE I don't see any practical advantage of upgrading. I have been using it with less than 1MB left and I don't have problems using it at all except that sometimes I run out of space for more pics

@jojo - A little off-topic but last month, my niece's nokia 3200 did crash due to memory overload. I spent P400 for a reflash. :-(
