I was among the early birds to get hold of my t610 back when it was launched and at that time it was the most attractive and among one of the most expensive phones launched in the market. I paid around RM1400 and now look at the price!!!
Be glad that you are not alone in this. For your info, I'm still using the phone.

We will continue to see dropping prices in phones as long as the technology used in the phone increases rapidly. After that the cost of a mobile phone just in the market would also come down. We can all wait till the technology gets stagnant or join the cycle of buying a new phone and dumping it soon.
I really hope they do something to improve in battery tech. Only that is the limiting factor in today's mobile phone technology.
