I had the same problem too. My phone just kept on searching forever.
I just contacted them and they're having me send my phone in. This sucks!!!

you can't. what I mean is that the phone will not find any carriers and connect. It won't even let me search for a carrier in the control panel. it just beeps and does nothing. i'm on the phone with usa customer service and they are having me send the phone in to a service center here in North Carolina. Now I'm stuck with a backup nokia for a week or 2. ugh.

Yep, sending mine in to N.C as well.
And it's not just the A's, someone else with an A reports his phone as working. But you could try updating and let us know the outcome.

seems like it's the wrong organizer they put out for the firmware. Thisi s bogus. Anyone else notice when it said flash complete it stops around 85-86% ?

I am only waiting for the new language packages for my phone (dutch). It seems that SE has not developed this yet.

Yeah, the website says the latest organiser version is R5A02, but my, now non-working, P910a is saying it's R5B01. This is starting to just sound like a major screwup. I'd like a word with whoever's responsible.
