how often do they launch a filmwear? i mean with the k700, how long did people have to wait for a filmwear update? i have 14 days right now, i'l just wait and see how it goes with the phone, if no probs then it'l be amazing, but then yeah i might get the same prob again with a replacement, aggghh so confusing what to do lol

Standby crash problem solved?
I've had a lot of crashes on my phone since I got it, usually it crashes at night. Yesterday I turned off some features on the phone, and I had no crashes on the phone all night!
What I did to my phone was this:
Turned off the sleep mode clock
Removed the animated background and replaced with a non animated
Turned brightness down to 90%
Removed the animated screensaver
This seemed to help, but I believe that turning off the sleep mode clock is the main reason for it not crashing.
Try it, hope it will work for you too.

Had my phone since Monday (23rd) and I haven't experienced any crashing. In fact, my phone hasn't been turned off or reset since Monday. For info, my settings are...
Sleep mode clock - off
Background and screensaver - 02 theme (background static, screen saver - animated)
Brightness - 100%

A fw bug or batt faulty could cause such problems. Sometimes it disappears with the time, but to upload the same fw again or an upgrade is the best solution.

It seems that an animated background also could cause the phone to crash, it's either that or the clock.
Hopefully SE will fix this in a future firmware.

Well I have an animated background, animated screensaver and the clock, and the phone didn't freeze once and I have the phone since a week! I don't lose my joystick shortcuts either. Maybe some people have a faulty one?
