just curious, bt why dont u plus the phone in when you are going to bed, so it will have a full charge the next day? you can leave it on, and have the alarm.
True.. mindyou im not that sort of person who overcharges delibratley, Id rather kill the phone completely then recharge it
I tried my alarm btw.. it doesn't really use much of the battery when it's kept on overnight so I accept thats sweet music to me.. i'll prob use it as a alarm more often

at night my battery level drops by 3% so its not much (but when i turn on the filght mode - its about 1-2%)
ha! battery gives my P910i 4-5 days! how?
-charge only when battery level is 0-1% (do not recharge!)
-charge only as long as it should (when the phone is on but when the phone is off you could charge it as long as you want) but remember - only form 0-1%!
-do not use screen saver (or even clock) - use blank page!
-switch off you BT
-in message account ->other-> switch the lowest option to GSM (not autimatic)-the phone will connect via gprs if needed so you dont need to change this option every time you want check your email!
i've got an huge article about batteries but unfortunatly in polish...
earlier i had: sx1- 3days, P800 - 5days (battery life)

I like the fact that when my phone is off its off. Battery wont drain.
We sell people iPAQ's all the time and they cant understand why when its turned off it still drains the battery leaving the device dead in about 2 days. Somone went on holiday, thought it was off and came back to find the device had reset as the batterys all died.
If it was a P then it could have been off for months before the battery went flat.
If you want standby, flight mode it. Your battery will only loose about 2% overnight.

2 Days?!?! Holy moly, I have Newtons that take 3 *weeks* to drain and a Psion that will keep dozing for two *months*. What do these iPaqs do when idling? Calculate high primes just for fun?

@DawidSOL
Before you blow up your battery, I should give you some precious advice !!!
Learn before giving bad advice => How to prolong lithium-based batteries

> -charge only when battery level is 0-1% (do not recharge!)
DON'T DO THIS !!!
Don't let your battery completly drain !!!
> -charge only as long as it should (when the phone is on but when the phone is off you could charge it as long as you want) but remember - only form 0-1%!
Not good advice.
The P has a Intelligent charger. You can't overcharge!
(just leave it on the cradle)

Screensaver PowerSaver is the best way to save power.
What are you talking about???
But I agree animated GIF screensavers are not good for the power.
...
The rest is OK.
Also, kill all idle applications on background freequently.
