High speed only really matters for use in a camera so that the images can be written to the card faster when taking continuous pictures.
For basic phone use speed is not that relevent

its better to get a Sandisk. If you dont already know, there cheaper and have faster transfer rates than the Sony hi speed pro duo cards
Having faster transfer rates means its also very useful for transfering large files with a card reader
