Like i said, the info was given by CPWs SE Account Manager...but ive been in this industry long enough to know that manufacturers release dates are never written in stone!...just ask our Purchasing team!!!...and when they do that it makes us look unprofessional which the majority aint!

DECEMBER??? Man, they blew it... I just new that SonyEricsson was not capable of producing such a complex product without any such major delays. By the time P800 comes out, Nokia will already (or very soon after that) have its first 3G/GSM phone... And Siemens also seems to be close to releasing its Symbian smartphone (based on Nokia's Series 60 Platform but better specced than 7650). Check out:

upon reading this thread....it makes me feel bad about it. i really thought that P800 will come out Sept., knowing that n7650 is now in the market...gee..i hope SE will try to release it as soon... many people are waiting for that fone...but i guess a little more time will make SE P800 a big..big..big thing for those people who have time to wait for a good...very good fone.!:)

did, when upgrading t68's firmware to t68i's firmware!! always delays..delays..delays..!!
and the sdk, yes, it's been mentioned before, i don't think i can give $1500 do get the p800's sdk, whereas nokia's is free!
even to participate to p800 application contest, you must be a member of developer support program, which also costs $500..!!
