Although it seems to matter very little to most posters, the most important feature for me is the flight mode. Can this be put on the 750 through new firmware?

This is the only way as flightmode will not be part of the normal K750 firmwares.
ps: "fligth mode" wont mean you will be able to use it as mp3 player in airplanes, just that you will be able to use it as mp3 player without turning the phone on. Rather idiotic imho since the main function of a phone would be to receive and make calls, which it will not do while its turned off. But no airline companies allow the use as mp3 player just because of the "flight mode". That would require the airline companies to keep constantly updated postive lists of devices that has been tested to work safely in "flight mode", and they have no interest in doing this expensive work. Much easier to just keep on not allowing the use of mobiles regardles of flight mode or not.
