Well, you can have the phone it just won't work as well with out the 850MHz. Just like the P800 and P900 they did not work as well as my P910a. Are you saying that the P990 is not going to work on any of the North American GSM networks?

P990i of course it'll work with North American 1900mhz GSM/GPRS networks. How long did it take SE to make the P910a avialable after official shipping of the P900i? If its like 7+ months there is hope of a P990a with 3G/HSDPA. Here in Canada Rogers Wireless announced public commitment to this in mid 2006, while Cingular has trialed for 2 years and official launch of the same 3G/HSDPA by end of 2005 in 15 markets. All this is on the existing 850Mhz & 1900Mhz bands; because we have the spectrum available to the wireless carriers here without congestion (5Mhz-25Mhz auctioned off to all carriers per sector nations wide for Canada & USA respectively)

Can't wait for this baby. And it will work with T-mob in US. They do only 1900 band.

Will 802.11b and 802.11G be much of a difference?
I mean whether B or G, most ISPs still provide 512kbps....
Anyone have ideas on this?

Well it looks great but it is at least 3 months too late, a lot of people with the p910i got it a year ago and are going to upgrade soon, end of november for me.
So lets hope the new HTC's are good.
Bye Bye Ericsson its been a fine ride.

What? the timing is perfect!! a hell of a lot of people got their P910i in May - July a year ago on the cheap deals from O2 so wont be ready to upgrade till then, and by second quarter even Vodafone should have it on their network! I cannot wait!

Good god you lot bitch don't you?
1) It was never going to be any smaller because whatever happened it was going to have a removable flip and a full QWERT KB on the machine, plus they want a large screen for business work (Thats right kids, it's a business phone, and SE care more about how many units IBM will buy than you)
2) It looks great, certainly better than all the other P series (I had a P900 and loved it, K750 right now)
3) Wi-Fi!!! I've been waiting for a phone I liked, IE not Treo or M$ with Wi-Fi for ages, now I can get one and surf from bed (fnar). It's not 802.11G? OH MY GOD GO KILL THE DESIGNERS NOW!! Who cares, no one will notice and if your transferring files that fat, get a USB cable.
4) Who the hell needs a 3Mp cam on their phone? The differences between 2 & 3 are negligable and this 2Mp will undoubtably be better than the K750s (Which rules TBH)
5) Memory sticks - they don't put a big pne in the box because . . . . . . . THEY WANT YOU TO BUY ANOTHER ONE YOU IDIOTS!!!! Same reason the PSP comes with a 64mb, Sony make more money from accesories like camera bags, batteries, extra playsation controllers and replacement remotes than they do for all their other stuff.
6) 80 Mb is enough for any internal files, if you need more, you have obsessive compulsive disorder, uninstall some shit fs.
Whining ninnies.
Well said that man!

i don't understand why some morons are trying to compare p990 with e61. p990 is the best phone ever made. no one can deny this. with this p990, it is clearly understood that

produces the best-featured phones while nokia gets the share by selling cheap models.
