Configuration info for T310 mobiles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(1) Go to Menu then select Connect.
(2) Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
(3) Select Add account? then GPRS data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: Airtel1
APN: airtelfun.com
User ID: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Save it.
(4) Repeat STEP (3) with name Airtel2
(5) Go back to Menu then select WAP services.
(6) Select Options then WAP profile. Select Add profile? then enter details for the following parameters:
Name: Airtel1
Connect using: Airtel1
IP address: 100.1.200.99
Save it and select it as the active profile.
(7) Repeat STEP(6) with name Airtel2 , but do not select it.
(8) Go to the Advanced menu( for both profiles)
(9) Select Change homepage then enter details for the following
parameters:
Name: AirtelLive
Address:
http://live.airtelworld.com
(10) Now create a dial-up connection on your PC and dial to *99***1#.
(11) Once connected , access any site on your mobile. Ignore the error
message. Keep the phone down and start using the PC.

Airtel is becoming smart now. Iam not able to download files which are more than 2MB. Does anyone experiencing this problem?

Wat error does is show alan?I downloading a movie fun wit dick and jane of which 3 mb is done but download speed is very low at night. Will tryin diff ip or port or apn increase speed?

@blu, I`m from tamil nadu. Im using airtelfun.com & 100.1.200.9:8080. as my phone is GPRS class 6 i dont get speeds beyond 6 or 7 KBps(max). how much u get? and whats your phone?
