how long does m3 take.i left it 4 an hour and no response.input length was 32 min.ihave got v0.896

You can set advanced options like bitrates and codecs on the Video tab, and M3 will remember your chosen settings between restarts.

M3 already uses source framerate for the output framerate, providing that source framerate is below the profile's max framerate. For example a 23.976 video using the K800 profile is output at 23.976 and not 25 fps.

The info tab doesn't currently reflect this fps information, so i understand the confusion.

Ive noticed 270 is a acceptable bitrate.

i'm trying to convert a trailer for my k750 but as soon as i click the "Convert files" button it gives me an error and m3 closes. why is that?

Im having trouble encoding my own at a decent bitrate.

Is there a thread that I am missing or a location to download pre-encoded videos for the larger screen sizes of the K800/K790 ?

When i was doing films for the k800i i used these settings.

Screen - 320 x 240 (or max of 352 x 288 )

Video bitrate - 325 kbps

Audio - 96 or 128

Framerate between 20 - 25 fps. (makes a difference to outputed file size)

these settings produce excellent quality.

I have just tried to encode one of my music videos and I got the following errors:

Couldn't open input file in HIDE mode! Exiting.

and

There was a problem indexing the mpg file, processing aborted.
