okay WOW, for some reason I've had incredible difficulty with both methods. Firstly, updated via SEUS many times, just now in fact. My P1i is Singapore Trade Latin. When I use XS++, it sits there trying to connect to the phone but never does [with and without the smartphone box checked]. Using XS++ 2.2 btw.
In terms of using the blob_fs folder, I downloaded cadcad's zip file and compared the hex codes. All are different, except 2 files. Except they're not the same, the last code is different. By last, I counted from 0 to 11. So the 11th code is different. But really, it's off by now that much. Instead of being 21, my file is 22. And the other, instead of being E4, the file is E5. Any ideas?
UPDATE: Okay, I couldn't take the suspense so I went ahead and used the two files anyway. It worked perfectly.

Try your datacable in another usb port. Worked for me when I had a few problems!
