I hear ya...I was thinking of something that would rival the N95 or E90. Even the HTC devices like the VOX are coming out with great design with new software in WM6. All that has been announced today are merely cosmetic, except for maybe the P1 which is an upgrade of M600i. Even the Motorola banana phone is more interesting than these phones announced today. That at least is the first UIQ without touchscreen.
All in all having a metal case is not innovative. The E61i is partly metal casing.

The S500 looks really nice, especially in green.
The P1 is a nice phone, like the P990 but a much better form factor.
I have been using the P1 for a while, but still use the W950 as my main phone.

yep we've seen the live pics
see if you can get the light effects on video
and shoot the blue model
oh yeah, notice that the P1 takes videos at QVGA 15fps MP4 and 3gp formats
