Snow is gone and it isn't freezing anymore, only some ice left.

Just back from holiday in Gran Canaria. 25-26 celsius everyday and not a single cloud for 10 days.
The day after I left, one of my friends slipped on the icy snow here in Brussels and broke his arm. The day after, another friend of him and I slipped as well. Her shoulder dislocated.
Happy I was in Las Palmas.

Bad news guys, my friend that broke his arm has slipped once more, at home. Found only two days later lying on the floor.
And the shoulder broken this time. But also suffering from pneumonia and he passed away this morning from septicemia.
Could not eat for the all day.

He was 67. And anyway suffering from an oesophagus cancer. So we knew he would not last long, but that's really a fast and ugly way to end. It was my best friend, more than a brother to me.
Well, myself being 65, I guess I have to get accustomed to seeing people I know disappearing regularly. Unless I am next.
Thanks, Bono. I need some compassion right now.
