Am I the only one to be strongly reminded of the keys of early typewriters looking at the keypad of the 980?

It is a strange, rather original mix of retro and futuristic looks. I wonder how well it will do once it gets to the shops.

Cheers!

SE e-shop says release is in July but July is almost over. On play.com available from 1st Aug and Voda is going to release it in the first week of August, anyways to the lucky person/s who is using it, how well the battery would perform by using FM transmitter compared to the normal use?

@ ros-mari

Patience Eldar has apparently expressed a rather favourable opinion of this SX-rich clamshell.

Cheers!

Just got mine ( U$ 520 - sim free ) and I've been playing with it for a couple of hours.

The surface is a fingerprint nightmare and the camera interface is not that user friendly but I guess I'll get used to it.

The display "looks" kind of small for a phone considered "high-end" but again, it's probably a perception.

Eveything else ( shake control, FM transmiter, light effects, very comfortable keypad, etc.. ) just great and it's not as bulky as I anticipated.

how was the sound quality?i heard it was the 1 of the best in music phone range now.and are there any random restarts,fw bugs/problems etc?

and how was the bundled HPM-77?mind writing a review about tht too in comparison with the current HPM-70 offered by most walkman phones.
