Those Samsung models were MASSIVE! I'm sure they were great, but when I held one in Seoul, I was hardly impressed and that was when they launched the 5MP one, at a time where we were just getting 1.0 and 1.3MP cameras.

The C905 does have the K800 soft-touch back, and now I've played with it I must say I was more impressed than I thought. It's big, but manageable and definitely strong on the imaging front (thanks to a larger CCD sensor).

I still think the C902 is awesome too, because of its size, but the C905 has Wi-Fi and GPS thrown in, and a larger display (but no more pixels, so it doesn't look as crisp as one with a smaller physical size).

Smart Contrast is clever in that it effectively takes three photos and picks the best one. Sure, digital cams have had this bracketing feature for some time (but not all pick the best by themselves). It's certainly yet another way of making it more of a camera than most cameraphones.

I'll upload some pics taken on the phone shortly and you can see for yourself that the images are quite good.

Notice how the board in the picture and the EXIF information for the photos confirm it's 7.99 (8.0) megapixels - not 8.1MP.

Klick on the link above each photo and then on the picture that appears and they will be full scale.

TY TY TY TY for the pics. Finally real and full sized pictures. They look good u have 2 that are blurry, but i guess it had a wrong focus. In fact, way better than my k810 (LOL) pictures
I am pleased with them. Also knowing than in 1 year tuned camera will make it look even better. At last, something to put on the wound that QVGA recording caused

OFF TOPIC: I don't like Romania's football team, NEVER liked it! They don't know how to play. The ball jumps from them like from a plank (all greedy and never knew how to play), just look at the ball magnets (NED), can take a pass from half of the field, and pass alot. Romania always lost the ball after 2 passes.
Score would have been 4-0 or 5-0 if primary team would have played. I Like the Netherlands alot, always liked them, especially V. d. Vaart
GO NETHERLAND - WIN EURO 2008!! (NED and POR my favorites, and ENG too)
so i cheered for netherland romania sux and cant play sh!t (mutu... if he catches the ball, he gets scared and dont know what to do with it..)

So is it CMOS or CCD? (if anyone answers the question, also post where did you get the info from)

EDIT: the redhead in the picture... on her shirt... "f**k LOVES ME" ???
