Mizzle!
Could you post some daylight pictures, or some pictures of colorful themes? I think the C901's color reproduction would interests lot of us.
I hope these recent pictures' colors were pale just because of the themes taken. I hope the red colors will be really red, and the colors vivid.

i remember someone shouted c901 have a Samsung cam-module and are wayyyyyyyy better then Sony
i dont think its a matter of firmware (well, slightly improvement of course, but you cant make gold of stone)
this first c902 pics (page 1-2) was shot in bad light or something, (first firmware 033 have great colours in the reality).
(sorry to say, but i dont think C901 ever will get great colours, even with a ultra-optimized firmware)
edit.
no offend Junz, it still looks like a cool Xenon shooter
Raederski. you misunderstood my again (i replayed when you said its probably a matter of firmware. which i DONT think it is)...but who gives a crap

Im sure this isnt a final retail unit, when C902 pics first came out before the release they were the same as the shots above, rubbish. Too early to call judgement

Ha, I love how you say 'Maybe a T750' - So true! I still love my T650i, the looks, the Keys (I Loved those keys, K850i, K810i and T650i)!
@α-san, greetings, once more!
And exactly......
Also, a shame to lose two talented modders...
...you've both done some great work......
Maybe C901 might just tempt you again, once you have one??

Cammodule snaps like Sams one, really:) And no firmare can fix that. I had k770 and I'm so familiar with Samsung-module pictures. Colours, abberations, exposures...looks identical to c901:) Looks like k770 have a Xenon now +5mp resolution.

no oversharpened edges, no purple fringing... no, this can't be Sony
This is very important. I can't stand the idea of having a camera phone and feeling embarrassed showing of full size shots taken with it. It doesn't matter how much
some people rave about their camera phones, if the photos only look good at 0.7 mega pixel then it is money wasted on 4300000 pixels that could have been spent on a good digital camera instead.

I'm also waiting for this phone to be released! I just hope that SE will do it right this time! I HOPE!
In the meantime I have also bought a cheap P&S compact digital camera Samsung S760, which btw. has a full manual mode, and produces excellent photos... I'm also going to buy a NIKON D40, my first DSLR camera, in a few days!
Samsung S760 + NIKON D40 + Sony Ericsson C901 would be a perfect combination...

A lot of pictures taken by the C901 have been uploaded to SUDEKINANAKO's profile at ZOTO.
Check them in full size here:

In full size the pictures are looking stunning. In my opinion the fisrt Cyber Shot phone from SE (after K800 or K750) which really offers a compact digicam quality, not just the CyberShot branding.
Here are some of the best shots:
PS. The colours are not even perfect, but red is really red at last.
