@Bonovox, I think I read somewhere that the pink was sort of rectified in later firmwares. I had it on the 2.3.3 but when I put on 2.3.5, it was not as apparent.

Samsung apps application might have a fix there too. You will need a samsung account.
Go in there and search for camera firmware. Download+apply it, some users have said it lessens the pink too. I sold my S2 so I cannot try it now. It is something to do with combo of hardware and the white balance not performing correctly.

Also Bono: You noticed the pink spot as it is present in every S2 (some just don't see it). The yellow tint screen is also present, but you haven't noticed it yet (trust me ). Be happy because once you see it, you can't unsee it
