HSPA, HSDPA, HSUPA (and the + variant) work on 3G bands. (Even though some networks brand HSDPA+ it as 4G).

LTE works on separate 4G bands.

Cheers. So does T-Mobile operate 3G bands which the Xperia V supports? Or asked the other way round: will the V at least pick up a 3G signal with HDSPA+ speed on T-Mobile USA?

T-Mobile runs 3G on 1700MHz and 1900MHz.

But The V runs 3G on 850, 900 and 2100MHz.

So it doesn't look like it will operate on T-Mobiles US network - correct me if I'm wrong.

i saw an australian site selling it quite cheap. I suppose their frequencies don't match the Greek ones. Do they??

I've had the V for two days and the screen has a very strange yellowish tone, the whites are slightly yellow. The sensor in lens doesn't make any huge difference and viewing angles are poor. Another failed screen by Sony.

Otherwise it's an excellent phone. Sound quality through headphones is awesome. Great battery life and great design. Sony makes the coolest designs by far.

I've achieved in excess of 20MB+ on HSDPA which is nothing to complain about really (Xperia T).
