It would be nice if Sony changed the design but I'm not sure if metal is the answer as it does dent easily if dropped? Also not sure if we will see it at MWC or IFA, MWC is 6 months after the Z5 was launched and if Sony are sticking to a 6 monthly release schedule then it would make an appearance this month possibly.
Hmm still no firm facts, 820 chip is a given, not much info on the screen resolutions, and a couple of reports about a metal body.

You are amusing at best. I'll stop here.

Noise party due to high iso, no thanks. I'd rather have a little darker scene with low noise rather then brighter scene with noise party. This is another example to show that big numbers alone won't make something better. Needless to say, Note 5 and v10 overall low light shots with lower iso but much better image processing and ois are superior. Super high iso won't cover the lousy image processing and lack of ois for sonymobile. They better treat the problem rather then the symptom. It is too bad that they can't backup their tendency for big numbers in the end result: 23mp vs 16mp, "4k" vs QHD always on, super high iso vs lower iso, etc. With that said, if you are happy with what you got then i'm happy for you.
I partly agree. Most of the time, I used manual mode in Z2 particulary night mode to decrease shutter speed but in parties like you have stated, other phones are useless in the name of Xperias (Unless you use flash). And what I found out is that, we tech enthusiasts would of course want cleaner overall shots (pixel-peeping) but in reality, most users will just post this on social media which makes the noise neglible.
Moreover, it is not just the light that is increased in high iso, the camera speed is also increased to catch those moments. I'd rather have a noisy image than lose that moment and wait for my phone more than 1 seconds to create a noiseless image.

We now know almost everything we want to know about Galaxy S7, M10 and G5. Sadly nothing about Z6. It's going to be a very uninteresting MWC from Sony's booth if nothing happens very soon.

@amirprog
You are missing something crucial in lowlight photography. you said:
"I'd rather have a little darker scene with low noise rather then brighter scene with noise party."
how about the shutter speed? this is where high iso performance is important. I can contradict your statement easily with:
"I'd rather have some noise in 20mp which goes away when resized to 5mp, rather than having a uselessly noise free but terribly blurred photo."
As much as I hate to say it, people are stupid to pixel peep on lowlight photos looking only at noise then judge the photo on that basis. Shutter speed is very important and is always overlooked. That is where high ISO performance works. Unless you always carry with you a tripod and tell your subject to literally not move, you won't get satisfactory results either.
The true value of high ISO performance in a camera means taking every picture in lowlight blur free as much as possible. And I think that's also the reason why Sony goes for large size 20mp, to maximize the advantage of reducing the noise when you resize the photo.
I've taken a lot of pictures of moving subjects in lowlight, and I will always choose the ones that are blur free even with some noise, rather than a useless blurred photo. (and dark too)
Believe me, I used to think the same way as you, I always set things to low iso as much as possible before, but ever since I saw that my shots were hit and miss and were not consistent (many are blurred), that's where I learned the value of high ISO performance on a camera.
I believe that's also what Shino means by "the high iso sensitivity of xperias are not gimmick at all" which is true, it definitely is not a gimmick, hence why photographers praise cameras in general that has very good ISO performance.

I half expect Sony to show something big at MWC, or alternatively, within a month or so after MWC. Then transition into the 12m cycle after that.
I know that continues the 6 month cycle, but they can't wait until later in the year to release the next flagship IMHO.
Bringing an SD820 phone then would seem like 'old news'. Yes, there's no major android releases to contend with at that time of year, but most people would have the s7's, G5's, M10's of this world by then. And of course everyone then will be buying the iPhone 7....
In any case, it's all very quiet on Sony's end. Either there isn't anything to leak, or they're just doing a really good job of containing said leaks.

I would like that Sony release Z6 at IFA. That would be good because Sony could prepare something spectacular, it gets enough time to make an awesome phone by then!
