@boysaint - Thanks for the advise there mate ! If you are to choose between an uzi or an ingram, what will your choice be ?

I can't comment on the 9mm handgun question since as boysaint knows, I usually go for big bores. Regarding the Uzi and the Ingram. Both are sturdy submachine guns, The full size models are a breeze to shoot and if you're going for the uzi's(which I prefer among the 2) get either the full size or the mini, not the micro as it's hardly controllable(its also called a finger cutter) and the rate of fire is so fast you will finish your 30 round clip in no time. Although the ingram is a reliable gun, I don't much care for its design as it looks so utilitarian, the nice thing about it is that its available in 45 ACP as the MAC10 although the 9mm holds its own where submachine guns are concerned and ammo is cheaper. The HK MP5K PDW is in my opinion a better choice, design wise and in quality of manufacture.

Its not yet available here. Currently only the 44 magnum cartridge is available in the Phil. for which I have a ruger super blackhawk. I've been wanting to acquire either a .454 Casull or .475 linebaugh in the past but the new x-frame .500 s&w magnum now tops the list. I'm not so sure if it will reach our shores though.

but yes, all of these mutations are american ideas. i doubt if any of those european gun makers will produce these "americanized" models in their own country. (example: SigPro is made in the USA only, by SigArms, not by SigSauer of germany or switzerland)

Quite nice, even though It still an AR, HK's touch should give it increased reliability and a better gas system, I expect it to be quite expensive though, as all HK's are.
There's also been a persistent rumor that HK will also come up with a 1911 with Larry Vickers as a consultant. That would be sweet, but the USP is good enough for me.

My PPSA comelec exemption expires on May 30, 2004. Soon after that I presume. Early June at the latest.

4 more months to go for the gun ban!!!! That is a very long time. Staring at your guns at home just doesnt work!!!! I miss the big booms of my shotguns!!! Anyone of you tried the shooting range in Antipolo (advertised by Twin Pines)? I heard they have a new CQB house there or was that just a rumor? The pretty girls (here we go again) of Twin Pines couldnt tell me more about this range since they havent been there themselves (so you think i go to Twin Pines to look at the guns?)
