I've got a problem with trying to update my s700i.
I unlocked it with Davinci, but now when I try to flash the phone it won't power up when you just press the button once. However if you hold it down like normal it powers up, but this is no use as it won't let me flash it.....
It's really bugging me now as I want to update the firmware and am unable to do so now.....

setool can fix your problem. But first try "manual ignition"
When you get the message to power on phone, do not, instaed remove battery and replace quickly, then press power button.
Make sure battery is charged.

Yep, everything is working.
I think it may have been the Davinci software that caused the problem... as ever since the unlocking procedure I haven't even been able to read the CID of my s700.
