However when i run FMA and set it on port 5 max speed and the 2 other options disabled and i try to connect the serial connection in My Bluetooth Places is disconnected and FMA doesnt connect! I dont understand what the hell im supposed to do! Help!

ok here is the deal: i just got the MSI usb bluetooth key (MS-6967) .
First of all i got to say that i dont have a clue in configuring this device ( i tryed to configure it as shown @ the pamplet.... no good)
Second, i have thses problems:

my MSI is installed correctlly ( as shown by the Device manager )

1) my computer does not find my T68i even though that the T68 is in " Discoverable mode" , in the "Add a bluethooth place" wizard.

2) my T68i DOES find the computer but i cant send/recive any files or data....

3) when they both find each other (not all the time) i cannot setup a "File Transfer" connection to my T68i , all i can setup is a "Serial Port" connection. when i do so, my devices could be connected but when they are connected, i cant do any thing ( cannot Send/Recive files...)

where did i go wrong? is the "Serial Port" connection is good enough to transfer data? or i could do so only when i setup a "Transfer Files" account??

plz help me out, i cant wait to work with it!!

thnx alot,

Liron

OK, hot news:
when i go to the BT icon at the task bar (near the computer clock) and right click it, going to "Services" and than goto "File transfer" and than to "Find devices" it does find my T68 but after a few seconds a msg pops up,the title is: "BTTray" and in the msg is writen: "Service File Transfer is not found on the device T68" .....what is that mean?

U cannot transfer file using msi n t68. What u shld do is to download softwares like SE MYPICTURE for file transfer and package 3 of se to be used together with mypic or FLOAT MOBILE AGENT for sms sending and recieving.. U can use ur msi n t68 for gprs connection, just look for the dial-up This post was posted from a T68i

Could some1 plz help me out with this 1?
OK, i have formated my Computer..... now what? should i install the Software that came with the MS-6967 ? or should i use another program? or should i install them both?
my main interest is to Download Themes and ring tone to my T68i from my Computer Via that BT device....
im not that good with those things so i hope that some1 will have enough patience for me ( dont worry i get things fast.. ).
All i need is a step by step instructions in plain English (not like that shitty pamplet i got with my device cause i didnt understand nothing from there......)

thnx alot i really apretiate this....

619 : thnx for the explanation!! but i didnt understood much , i mean, i havent found that Floating Mobile Agent, and the MYPICTURES program didnt even found my BT device....but thnx for the effort!!!

@619 re file transfer. That's inaccurate. File transfer can be done with other bluetooth devices that support ftp - not limited to msi only. This post was posted from a T68i

You need a stack that supports OBEX (object exchange).. It's currently not fully supported in the WidCOMM stack.

@Funky-Fish
I use Float's Mobile AGent's (FMA) upload facility, and have also tried the sendfile utility from christersson.org.

The FMA can be downloaded from eflame.com/fma (there's also an existing thread at the software forum about FMA.

Christersson's website is www.christersson.org . see the software section.
